As I promised you a while ago I want to start introducing you our amazing, talented...and yup extremely handsome cast;)
I asked all of them to just write a few lines about themselves...
I will have different posts...there are 12 actors (counting myself) on stage so this would help my blogging for the next few days hehehe...
Here we go...
FELIPE BONILLA (Ivan Antonov)

I have a wonderful sense of humor, little light and mucho dark. I
might come off as a bit shy sometimes (typical actor syndrome LOL) but
just talk to me and you'll find a wonderful bag of surprises! I
loooooves his 80's music...
The moment he walked in the room we knew we found our Ivan, our hero...his acting is fantastic, and he's a very versatile actor, he listens to directions very well and he brings something knew to the scene, something fresh every single time.
I recently moved to NYC in December 2006 with my wife
Deborah and our cat Blackie. When not performing,
auditioning or rehearsing, I enjoy reading, movies, sports, shooting pool, and music. My "day job" is attorney, specializing in labor and employment law.
I am super excited to work on such a unique and interesting project as "Baaahhh!!!" Prior to Baaahhh!!!, I can be seen as Archidamus/Cleomenes in
the American Theatre of Actors' production of The
Winter's Tale, running June 13-30. More info and pics
about me can be found at www.ActingJack.com and
on myspace at www.myspace.com/nycjack.
I have only one question:
have you registered your sheep yet?:)
I remembered Jack from the email exchange we had when I contacted him for the audition, the poor guy was stuck in some airport because of bad weather and he asked me to email him the whole script...so I did...I always like when and actor asks that it really shows that he is serious about the project.
When he walked into the room his smile just made us smile...he was absolutely perfect for Eugene, again another talented undiscovered actor...once again we felt so very lucky with him...
CLARK BEASLEY JR (Zhoro)
production, Baaahhh. I have lived in NY for about 7 years now, moved here from
the NY of the south.. Miami. It took a while to adjust to life off the beach
but I love NY and can't imagine living anywhere else. I love to travel , most
recently was flying to Mexico City quite often and as always.. Italy. I
also learned recently that I can horseback ride. Ok, I took lessons, which I
highly recommend. Check out Prospect Park in Brooklyn, its so cool and much
more rural than CP. As you might have noticed, I can yak a lot as well, so better end this now.
See you on stage!!!
See you on stage!!!
I met Clark few moths ago trough my very good friend and genius mind behind our logs Marcello La Ferla...I heard sooo much about Clark and one sunny afternoon I finally had the pleasure to meet him. To say that he's an amazing person and soul is not enough...there's a light that comes from him, he brings joy.
I did ask him to audition for Zhoro...yup even friends had to audition...I remember that when he walked into the room and he did the sides we gave him I felt like it was the first time I heard those words...he was so connected...Stefano loved his performance as well.
The day after for the call backs we had those three gentlemen together for a scene, we wanted to know how they were going to interact with each other...it was just perfect...we had found our three friends, our three heroes...
We couldn't be happier with Felipe, Jack and Clark!!!

It must be wonderful to work with such cool and talented people :) I enjoyed learning a little about your cast.
Jafabrit: it really is!!! They are just so amazing!!! More to come...stay tuned;)
boy maria, you weren't kidding... so far that is one handsome cast! clark is beautiful. :)
Barbie2be: I know!!! Handsome and talented...they are just awesome!!!
Maria, maybe you have enough on your plate, but why couldn't you and some pals decorate cockroaches with your logo and have the web address on the bottom (I glue it on the underside). They are so easy to do and people seem to love them. What an interesting advertizment that would be for your show eh! Leaving them in strategic spots where they might garner the most interest couldn't hurt. If you want info on where I get the cockroaches and how to do, just email me at jafagirlart@yahoo.com
anyway it was just an idea that popped into my head.
Jafabrit: wow you truly are an artist...I think it's a great idea!!!The only thing is that we would prefer to use sheep...we don't wanna confuse the people with too many animals hehehe...but please keep the ideas coming...thank you so very much!!!
well could you buy a box of small toy sheep, cover them in glitter, and attach a little tag with your website on it :)
Jafabrit: yup...that would be great...but the budget doesn't include it...;)
Most exciting, dear Maria....Each of these actors sound like such interesting people....Great idea to introduce them to all of us out here through your blog! Thank You!!
oh darn, that budget always gets in the way. :(
OldOldLadyOfTheHills: stay tuned for more;)
Jafabrit: hehehe I know...;)
This is getting very exciting now. Does it feel real yet? My younger brother is an actor in Australia. He loves it when you get to the rehearsal stage and it all starts to come together. He's just done an advertisment as a chef in a burger bar and is auditioning for a local production of Fiddler on the Roof. As you can probably guess from the above he's a big lad. Christine and FAZ
MEOW! They are all very handsome.
FazTheCat: Oh sooo nice you have actors in your family too...I had a student from Australia few months ago and now I'm going to have another one next week...the process is very exiting and scary...I still can't believe it...
Daisy: prrr yes they are!!!
You guys seem to have so much fun! I enjoyed reading about the cast.
Would you find out if Clark is related to the Beasley family from the southern part of Miami? Thanks.

Vanessa: I just sent him an email:)
