WE GOT IT!!!



I'm coming back home, there's a nice warm sun hitting my face.
I'm just few steps away from the front door when I get this feeling...I can't really explain it...I start thinking about the Fringe Festival...I know we should get an answer any day now...I think that we have to be strong and be ready for a "no"...

I open my mail box and I notice this big yellow envelope...my heart start beating fast...I see the Fringe Festival logo on it...I can't believe it...

I go up the stairs (three at the time I think) I get home. My hubby is watching tv he looks at my face "We got an answer from the Fringe Festival"...

I sit on the bed...I start thinking about so many things...all the times I got a no, all the times I got a yes...I see different people in my life crossing in front of my eyes...I see my Mom, she is smiling...

I open the envelope...there's a lot of paper inside...I think that they must have sent us the script back...I look at the cover letter and I can only read one word... CONGRATULATIONS...

I start screaming so loud!!! I can't believe it...I keep looking at it!!!

Last year they received more than 8000 applications for 20-25 shows...it's one of the biggest windows for theater here in New York...
From the Fringe some shows went straight to Broadway...

I immediately called Danette...I left her a message...I called Stefano in Italy...we started screaming like two little kids...

I sent messages to my friends in Italy...to Marcello...

Danette calls my from LA...she is crying...I start too...

The phone calls keep coming in...I'm freaking out...I'm happy, confused ecstatic...this is happening...we can't believe it...thanks to all of you who've been following us and giving us so much love and support...you have no idea how much it means to us!!!
